ADSR4, Challenge Number 11

This one required a little thought on my part...

You can ask any one person (dead or alive; family, friend, famous or foe) one question. Who would it be and what would you ask them?
Here are some layout requirements:
1. Your layout can have only ONE photo. The photo must either be of the person to whom you are posing the question OR must represent the question you are asking.
2. You MUST include your question in your layout and your question can be the ONLY words/journaling on your layout.

ADSR4, Challenge Number 10

Challenge 10 was pretty easy for me, my partner was the one who had to do all the work! LOL

Roadblock-only 1 persom may do this challenge. (Turns out it is jaye that has to do this challenge because I did the scraplift your partner challenge, #6.)

Interview your partner
You must ask at least 5 questions
Include a picture
Use 2 designers

So, here is what the interview turned into:

I think that she did an amazing job capturing both of our personalities in this layout!

Hop on the train….

...come and join the fun!  I’m Janel, and I am stop #3, on the Team Polka Dot Plum Blog Train!

SO, a little about me, I live in the presently melting mid-west of the United States.  Earlier this week it was –3 F and today it is going to be 50 F!  I love digital scrapbooking, as you can tell by looking at my blog, LOL  I hope that you enjoy the quick pages that Team PDPlum is making for you over the next little while.  Amy and Lauren are the most gifted designers and I enjoy working with their designs.

Yesterday, I hope you were at SassyPixie’s blog for stop 2 of the train.

Here is what my quick page looks like:

Download it here!

Tomorrow, make sure you head over and check out Emily’s blog, she will be the next stop on the train!  You need to make sure that you stay on this train until it reaches the final destination!  There is going to be something you are not going to want to miss!

Happy Scrapping!

ADSR 4, Challenge Number 9

This week’s challenge is: Generations.
Your scrapbook page completed for this challenge must include:

  1. Photos of at least two generations of family members (the more generations, the better).
  2. Lace
  3. Something metal, preferably, old metal.
  4. At least one flower.
  5. At least one vintage or retro-style element. It can be ephemera, an old book, an old clock, and so on.

So here is my layout

5 Generations (1973)
Youngest to Oldest
My brother, myself, my mother, my grandmother, my great-grandmother, and my great-great grandmother (seated)
The lace is an actual doily crocheted by my great-grandmother, that I photographed and extracted.
The metal is the rhinestone bow pin from Flergs
The flowers are from Flergs
I am considering my vintage element to be the crystal button from Armina Designs

1. Scraplift a layout from the gallery of your Scrapping Idol.
2. Include a star somewhere on your layout.

4. Please link up to the layout you lifted in your credits.

I don't really have a scrapping idol, but the layout I lifted has been in my favorites for quite a while.

ADSR4, Challenge 7

These were the rules:

Make a layout using everything in the Sunshine Studio Scraps, Sunrise Special freebie. You may recolor, resize, etc. as long as you use it all in some way. You can use other products in addition to this freebie.

And this is what I created:

I will be back with my entry for challenge #8!
